Collecties van Catellani & Smith

Enzo Catellani is de creatieve geest van Catellani & Smith - en dat wordt niet alleen in ieder lampenontwerp zichtbaar, maar ook in de gekozen naam van het bedrijf. De lampenfabriek Catellani & Smith uit Villa di Serio, in de buurt van Bergamo, in Italië, zou door de twee creatievelingen Carlo Catellani en architect Logan Smith opgericht zijn. Tegenwoordig weten we: dit verhaal moet met een knipoog worden gezien. Catellani staat voor Enzo Catellani - Carlo is zijn vader, die hij in de bedrijfsnaam heeft opgenomen. En Logan Smith was zijn renpaard - een grappige anekdote dus, die past bij het fantasievolle karakter van Enzo Catellani. En bij de missie unieke designlampen te ontwikkelen - een belofte waaraan Catellani & Smith zich tot op de dag van vandaag houdt.

Natuurlijke materialen, kleuren en vormen

De ontwerpen van dit label zijn uniek, en dat wordt onder andere veroorzaakt door het speciale materiaalgebruik. In veel van de Catellani&Smith lampen worden namelijk natuurlijke materialen verwerkt. Dit zie je bijvoorbeeld terug in de metalen Macchina Della Luce A LED - Pendellamp. Dankzij een combinatie met aardetinten, past het geheel bij vele interieurs. Dit geldt ook voor de bijzondere Stchu-Moon 02 - Pendellamp Ø40/Ø60, waarbij de vormgeving bovendien doet denken aan de maan.

Catellani&Smith verlichting: altijd uniek

Elk product van Catellani&Smith is even uniek. De lampen worden namelijk tot in detail met de hand gemaakt en er is altijd slechts een beperkte oplage beschikbaar. Dit maakt de producten van dit label wel heel speciaal. Het bedrijf weet telkens weer te verrassen met de sensuele lichtval en de aandacht voor de natuur die in elk ontwerp naar voren komt. Catellani&Smith is niet te vergelijken met enig ander merk en geeft uw interieur een persoonlijk karakter.
